Is the media having a negative influence this campaign ?

With polls showing who certain ethnic groups prefer, who is more electable, what match-ups would you like to see in Nov., how can the public make objective selections ? Instead of focusing in on issues, the 24 hour news stations debate who is 'Mr. Conservative', are those real tears, who hates each other, is race an issue etc... What does this bull have to do with selecting a president ? And how is the most populist Democrat, John Edwards, out of the campaign & Ron Paul, a true small government conservative, not getting any media coverage ? In 4 years the next 'inevitabe' candidate will be a conservative 45 year old Latina from California. The media will latch on to her intriguing back story: her parents are illigal immigrants from Mexico adding fuel to the on-going immigration debate. Before politics her biggest claim to fame was being a model on Telemundo. Ann Coulter hates her because she looks hotter & Bill-O denounces her because he gets no play. Yup, that's a 'front-runner'.
