Will he ever chose me over her?

my situation is a lot like yours, i loved my ex boyfriend (whom was also my best friend) since i was in elementary school but of corse he started dating one of my close friends. while they were dating both of them always went to me for advice, what they should do together and how to fix their problems and everything. but one day everything started going wrong between them, he would tell her his problems and she would compleatly reject him and acted like he didnt matter, although what caused him all this pain was her ignoring him and hanging out with the only guy he didnt like. she said she didnt care about him and she hated how much he over reacted and ended up dumping him.then she goes for my recent ex boyfriend (who dumped me)even after my objections.well of corse after what this girl did she was no longer my friend anymore. seeing my best friend sad like that broke my heart and i decided to confess my feelings for him. we started to go out, everyone said we were perfect for each other, we had a great but short relationship. after my best firend broke up with me i soon figured out there was a reason behind it. he told his ex girlfriend (and my ex best friend) that he was still in love with her, and she told him she felt the same way. after hearing this i thought my heart was going to break into a million pieces. i warned him about her so many times, that shes just going to do the same and break his heart again and again. but of corse he didnt belive me.but one day he comes to my door at 11 pm (he lived in the same area as me) and told me that this girl (my ex best friend) said she changed her mind and didnt want to date him. on the verge of tears he tells me he was sorry, that he made a mistake, and that he should have lisined to me. he told me he still loved me and i belived him. he wrapped me in a hug and kissed me. just when i thought my heart was mended back together the next day he tells me that it was a whole misunderstanding and that he still loves her. next i hear that in a text message he told her something i told him, she says im a wierdo, he says he agrees. but i know him, he'd never say anything mean about anyone, whats happening? while he ever chose me over her?
