Is a Short-Legged, Smooth-Haired Jack Russell Terrier good for me? Are there many health issues with this dog?

Yes it is these dogs are very active and not large at all very smart and will listen to you if you re up to the challenge of training them. they do love exercise so they wont like to be kept inside. their life expectancy is very long since they are a small dog but mainly varies on how u treat them and food and exercise. no no grooming is necessary but maybe bathe him or her once a week if u can to keep ticks and fleas off of them. they will shed a lot so be careful with that. they are fine around other animals if they grow up around them so just make sure too keep them close together as they grow. So overall i do agree on this dog as a good choice for you. Just make sure you're up to the task of training and giving them a lot of attention.
